FESTIVALS 

London Short Film Festival 

6th – 17th of January 2017

Every year the London Short Film Festival celebrates the work of emerging film-makers by showcasing their newest projects. Alongside this creative exploration of new talent are a line-up of guest speakers and an array of gigs on every evening. Check out their website for more information.

BFI Flare: London LGBT Film Festival

16 – 26th of March 2017

The British Film Institute, located on London’s Southbank near Waterloo, is one of UK’s most crucial creative hubs dedicated to preservation and the art of film-making in Britain. Honestly, if there is an event with the initials ‘BFI’ included in the title, it’s bound to be good.

BFI Flare is a Film Festival centred on the voices of the LGBT community. For ten days you can see a range of thought-provoking films celebrating and addressing the issues of the LGBT community. A must see film event in 2017.

Sci-Fi London Film Festival

 27th of April – 6th of May 2017

One of the best Science Fiction Film festivals in the UK. Expect screenings of incredible science fiction films, a range of guest speakers, costume parades and a 48 Hour Film Challenge.

Rocky Horror Sing-a-Long

Rocky Horror Picture Show is the Queen of cult films.

Rocky Horror Picture Show midnight screenings are a strange cinematic wonder to behold. All year round the Prince Charles Cinema in London hosts sing-a-long renditions of the transgressive 70s film classic.
